As a professional organization representing the interests of Dental Hygienists, Dallas Dental Hygienists' Society has resources and experience to help you make the most of your professional future.

Access to Information

Members receive the Journal of Dental Hygiene, ADHA's publication providing you with the lastest scientific and technical information affecting clinical practice, research, and education. ADHA's publication Access informs and educates members of the issues that are important to dental hygiene.

Continuing Education

ADHA membership offers you a 20% discount on continuing education through self-study courses. The ADHA Annual Session, Constituent and Component continuing education programs offer additional opportunities for education. Dallas Dental Hygienists' Society offers their monthly continuing education programs at no charge to members. Non-members pay a $25 fee per program. DDHS presents programs on the latest scientific, technical and clinical care trends in the Dental profession. The most current theories and techniques in dental hygiene practice are presented in our monthly programs.

Members!! Attend all meetings and receive your 12 hours of CE credits free.

Professional Development

ADHA membership opens the door to many opportunities for professional recognition and growth. Leadership opportunities are present on every level of membership and valuable friendships are developed along the way.

The ADHA offers a variety of insurance plans at group discounts to members through Albert H. Wohlers Insurance Co. Job Security

ADHA's legislative efforts monitor and impact government activities that influence the practice of dental hygiene and protect your role as a provider of oral health care.

Leadership Development

Becoming active in the Association can give you the opportunity to develop new skills and interests such as leadership and public speaking.

Recognition

You can make contributions to your community's oral health standards through professional activities with you local association. Professional membership builds an identity for you and the dental hygiene profession. You can also become a role model for recruiting candidates into the dental hygiene profession.

ADHA offers state employment referral services, national classified advertising, and employment reference materials to help you move ahead in your career.
