Welcome To The Dallas Dental Hygienists' Society

We are the local component of the Texas constituent to the American Dental Hygienists' Association. Dallas Dental Hygienists' Society is a professional organization offering continuing education to Registered Dental Hygienists and providing public service programs to our community since 1952.

MISSION STATEMENT
To improve the public's total health, the mission of the American Dental Hygienists' Association is to advance the art and science of dental hygiene by ensuring access to quality oral health care, increasing awareness of the cost - effective benefits of prevention, promoting the highest standards of dental hygiene education, licensure, practice, and research, and representing and promoting the interests of dental hygienists.

Characteristics of the Dallas Dental Hygienists' Society

DDHS is one of 20 components of the Texas Dental Hygienists' Association, a constituent of the American Dental Hygienists' Association. There are approximately 1,000 hygienists in
Dallas Dental Hygienists Society's region.
The following 5 counties are included in the region: Dallas, Ellis, Freestone, Kaufman & Navarro.

The Dallas Dental Hygienists' Society website was created to publicize our component, keep our members informed, and attract a broader audience. We will use this site to get the word out about our organization and to create a better sense of community amongst our members. We will also include pictures of our members and events.
